ADA Compliant?
The American Disabilities Act (ADA) recommends hotel/motel beds are of an accessible height between 20 to 23 inches from the floor to the top of the mattress to ensure easy access.
The Store More RESORT’s standard total height from floor to the top of the platform is 16 inches. To meet the ADA recommendations, the mattress thickness would have to be from 4 inches to 7 inches.
The RESORT is available with 5 inch legs making the total height of the platform to the floor of 13 inches. Using the 5 inch legs, the mattress thickness would have to be 7 to 10 inches to meet the ADA.
